Here it is! Footage from Lola Staar's Dreamland Roller Rink Swing Party on Oct 10, 2008. It's brand spankin new! Thank you all for attending. You all made this premier concept combining dancing and roller skating a reality and the proprietor loved what we presented. And after seeing the concept in action, she believes that next summer we can make this a huge event and we’re also talking about installation of a wood floor as well. Lot’s of possibilities and most importantly, I hope you all had fun.
The "Party like it's 1929" event at Dreamland Roller Rink is my first opportunity to DJ at a Roller Rink and I'm hoping to influence some of you dancers to stop by and dance or roll out your skates! Check out the details at SavoyCentral.org and I just tested out the floor this week. It's great if you've got Dance shoes with Suede or leather. Nice grip and slide material. Acts alot like wood.

Personal Note: This year I’m celebrating 10 years from the moment I won the American Swing Dance Championships in 1998.
