Hey, if you're coming to Saratoga this weekend, we'll be featured in a recreation of a USO radio broadcast production on Saturday Afternoon. Friends of the New York State Military Museum will host an historic recreation of a USO Armed Forces radio broadcast from 2 to |5 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the museum in SARATOGA SPRINGS. The event will feature local historian Gary Ferris, who will recreate the exact type of show that Bob Hope would have broadcast in May 1941.There will be three hours of nonstop entertainment, also featuring live performances by the Manhattan Dolls and swing dance performances by Paolo & Lauren — all reminiscent of the era of America’s Greatest Generation. friendsofthenysmilitarymuseum.com

Spins, Dips and Pretzels Swing Dance Workshop
Saturday Feb 18th
12:00 – 4pm (level 2 and up) NOTE: STARTS at NOON
This workshop will cover spins, dips and fun twisting patterns. We begin with techniques that will improve your spins and rotations. The second hour we’ll guide you through some playful patterns. We’ll close with dips and lockups. Certainly bring water and perhaps a snack but you don't need to bring a partner.

Swing Slam Swing Dance Workshop

This workshop will cover lots of 6-count based patterns and tricks. First half hour spent on just footwork from Jazz Techniques to Playful Syncopations. Then 6-count material like the lasso, yo-yo, basket, hide & seek, plus some huge tricks that will challenge anyone at any level.
